COPYEDITING
The editor will check your document for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors.
LINE EDITING
In addition to copyediting your document, the editor will give consideration to word choice and content consistency. The editor may make minor revisions to sentences.
CONTENT EDITING
In addition to line editing, the editor will consider the overall impact of your document. The editor may make significant revisions to the text, reorganize text, perform light fact-checking, provide editorial commentary within the document, and write a manuscript overview.
The editor does not offer ghostwriting services and will not rewrite large portions of text (multiple pages, whole articles, or whole chapters).
PROOFREADING
The editor will check your page proofs for typographical and typesetting errors.
Alternatively, the editor will compare the latest version of your document against an older, marked-up copy to ensure that all changes have been made and no new errors have been introduced.
